Just as we expected, the Porsche Panamera has turned out to be yet another cash cow for Porsche, following on from the very successful Cayenne and proving conclusively that’s it’s the passenger carrying Porsches that sell the best – and make the money. So far with the Panamera we’ve had everything from the £62k V6 Diesel through to the £102k Panamera Turbo, and we know the Panamera Diesel and the Panamera Hybrid are already in the pipeline. But now comes news of another Panamera variant – the Porsche Panamera Turbo S.

Mercedes C63 AMG: the lowdown
Mercedes has a penchant for extremely powerful saloons and sports cars, in case you hadn't noticed. We've been inundated with the likes of the CL65 AMG, the CLK Black AMG and the McMerc SLR Roadster. Not content with these tyre-shredding giants, Mercedes has now shown the C63 AMG just 48 hours before the launch of the BMW M3.
Audi showed off the new Crosslane Coupe concept car at the Paris motor show in 2012 - and it's basically the new Q2 in show-car drag. Ingolstadt may call it 'a hybrid study providing pointers to the design language of future Audi Q models,' but very senior execs told CAR it is the new Q2. Audi is preparing a raft even-numbered Q models which will provide a lower slung breed of crossover to the family-oriented Q3/Q5/Q7 set.
